Cole Termite & Pest Control Inc. was founded in 1981 by David Cole. Mr. Cole's family, his wife, Helen Cole; son, Travis Cole; son-in-law, Brian Kabell; and daughter-in-law, Katie Cole have joined the business. Although the business has grown to include technicians Vern Camey and Clayton Shehan, the heart of the company is still a family business.

All of us at Cole Termite & Pest Control Inc. are dedicated professionals and strive to make every home a healthy environment for you and your family.

Dave Cole

Dave, president of Cole Termite & Pest Control Inc., has over 39 years of experience in the pest management industry. Having worked for a local pest control management company for ten years, he founded Cole Termite & Pest Control Inc. in Kansas City, MO in 1981.

As an entrepreneur, he took an active role in the Pest Control Association of Greater Kansas City, serving as Director, Secretary / Treasurer and Vice-President. In 1988, he was elected President and served two terms. His service with the Missouri Pest Management Association spans over 15 years, and he served two years as President. Prior to his presidency, he served as Director, Regional Vice-President, Senior Vice-President and Chairman of the finance, budget, membership, fall conference, awards, nomination, media and strategic planning committees. Mr. Cole served as a Director at Large for the NPMA from 1995 - 1997. In addition, he served as the National Pest Management Association liaison to the Missouri Pest Management Association.

Since 1997, Mr. Cole has served as a certified mediator / arbitrator through the Missouri State Attorney’s Office for the resolution of class action suits. He is often called upon to serve as an expert witness in pest control disputes.

Helen Cole

Helen is the vice-president of Cole Termite & Pest Control Inc. She is one of the friendly voices you will hear when you call the office. Like Dave, she was elected President of the Pest Control Association of Greater Kansas City and served many years on the Board of Directors.

Helen has a certified Commercial Applicators License in general structural pest control and termite pest control.

Travis Cole

Travis, the general manger of Cole Termite & Pest Control Inc., has been with the company since 1989 and heads our award-winning Sentricon Termite Colony Elimination System Division. He sat on the Board of Pest Management Association of Greater Kansas City from 1993 - 2004, serving as Secretary / Treasurer, Vice-President and President for two terms. He also served on the Board of Missouri Pest Management Association and chaired the Education and Political Action Committee from 2000 - 2004. He was in charge of providing the education and training for hundreds of pest control firms throughout the state. Travis was one of the youngest members to earn a certified Commercial Applicators License in general structural pest control and termite pest control.

Travis and Katie Cole are married and have one daughter, Emma.

Brian Kabell

Brian began his career as a termite control specialist for Cole Termite & Pest Control Inc. in 1992. After eight years, he shifted his time and expertise to pest control and now is the General Pest Control Operations Manager. He holds a certified Commercial Applicators License in general structural pest control and termite pest control. He has been on the Pest Management Association of Greater Kansas City Board for years and is currently serving as treasurer.

Brian is married to Tammy Kabell, and they have two daughters, Hannah and Abby.

Katie Cole

Katie has worked in the office of Cole Termite & Pest Control Inc. since 2000. She is responsible for customer service and scheduling.

Vern Camey

Vern has been with us since 2000 and has been in the termite & pest control industry since 1990.

He is our Pest Control Sales and Service Technician and carries a certified Commercial Applicators License in general structural pest control and termite pest control.

Vern is the proud father of Adam and Sarah Camey.

Clayton Shehan

Clayton started his career with Cole Termite & Pest Control Inc. in 2002 as the Sentricon Service Technician. He is a registered Termite & Pest Control Technician. With his hard work, he has helped us earn the Sentricon Quality Service Awards.

Clayton is the father of two little girls, Donika and Destiny Shehan.
